Rigid Boxes
Custom Rigid Boxes
Premium set-up boxes with wrapped covers and fitted inserts, for launches, gifting, and products where the box is part of what the customer is paying for.
The format people keep.
A rigid box is built on a greyboard frame and wrapped in printed paper, so it does not fold flat and does not feel like packaging. It is the format used for jewellery, high-end electronics, gift sets and limited releases, where the container is expected to survive the unboxing and stay on a shelf afterwards.
It is also the most expensive format per unit, and the one most often over-ordered. We will tell you when a well-finished folding carton would do the same job for a fraction of the cost. When rigid is genuinely the right call, the difference in hand-feel is immediate and hard to fake.

Specifications
Everything below is agreed with you before we proof. If something in your spec will not print or ship well, we say so at quote stage rather than after production.
| Box style | Lid-and-base (two piece), hinged lid with magnetic closure, book-style, drawer and slipcase, and neck-style set-up boxes. |
|---|---|
| Frame | Greyboard, in a range of thicknesses. Thicker board feels more substantial and costs more to ship, and we will explain the trade-off for your product. |
| Wrap | Printed art paper, specialty and textured papers, and coloured wraps for an unprinted look. |
| Printing | Full-colour CMYK with Pantone matching on the wrap. Interior wraps can be printed or left in a solid colour. |
| Finishes | Matte, gloss and soft-touch lamination, hot foil, embossing, debossing, spot UV and edge detail. |
| Closures | Magnets, ribbon pulls, elastic bands and tuck flaps. |
| Inserts | Fitted EVA foam, card platforms, moulded pulp or corrugated inserts, cut to hold each component. |
| Minimums | Confirmed in your quote. They move with size, stock, print method and finish, and we will tell you honestly if a quantity is not workable for the spec you want. |
| Artwork | Send print-ready files, or send a logo and a reference and we supply the dieline and artwork guidance as part of the job. |
| Lead time | Confirmed in your quote. It depends on structure, quantity and finish, so we give you a realistic window rather than a fixed promise. |
| Production | Made with our trusted partner facilities in Pakistan, quality checked before dispatch. |
| Delivery | Shipped to your US address. Freight method and landed cost are confirmed in your quote. |
Is rigid actually the right format?
Rigid boxes cost more per unit than any other format we produce, and they ship at a higher volumetric weight because they do not fold flat. None of that is a reason to avoid them, it is a reason to be deliberate. Rigid earns its cost when the box is kept, photographed, gifted, or when it is protecting something genuinely fragile or valuable. It rarely earns its cost on a repeat-purchase consumable that goes straight into a bin. Tell us the product, the retail price and roughly how many you expect to order, and we will give you an honest view, including when the answer is that you do not need us for this one.
Questions we get asked
They are assembled rather than folded. A greyboard frame is cut, formed and hand-wrapped in printed paper, and most carry a fitted insert. They also ship at a higher volumetric weight because they cannot be flat-packed. You are paying for construction, and for air.
Yes. Magnets are set into the lid and base during assembly. They add cost per unit and they add weight, so tell us at quote stage rather than after the proof.
Fitted EVA foam, card platforms, moulded pulp and corrugated inserts. The insert is often what makes an unboxing feel designed, so it is worth specifying properly rather than treating it as an afterthought.
We would not recommend it. A rigid box is a presentation piece, and the postal network will mark it. Most brands ship theirs inside a plain or printed mailer.
Yes. A coloured or textured wrap with a single foiled logo is a common and often better-looking choice than full-colour print, and it usually costs less.
Minimums are confirmed in your quote. Rigid boxes involve hand assembly, so the practical minimum behaves differently from a folded format. Boxes are produced with our trusted partner facilities in Pakistan and shipped to your US address.
